Bank First Online Saver Account Promotion - Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter:
   1.1 Victoria Teachers Limited (t/as Bank First) ABN 44 087 651 769 of 117 Camberwell Rd Hawthorn East VIC 3123 (Bank First).
   
   
   
2. Eligibility: 
   2.1 The Bank First Online Saver Account Promotion ("Promotion") is open to eligible Victorian residents who open a new Bank First Online Saver bank account during the Promotion Period.
   2.2 Entry is open to Victorian residents who are 18 years or older and quotes one of the following promo codes at the time of signing up: OWEEK24 or BFOWEEK24.
   2.3 Members who are currently employed by Bank First are not eligible to participate. For the avoidance of doubt, Members/employees of Bank First who are involved in setting up this Promotion are also not eligible to participate.
   
   
   
3. Promotion Period: 
   3.1 The Promotion begins on 8 February 2024 and ends on 31 March 2024.
   
   
   
4. How to Enter:
   4.1 To enter the Promotion, eligible entrants must become a member of Bank First and open a Bank First Online Saver bank account. An account opening form is available at on our website.
   4.1.1 To gain 1 entry into the prize draw, eligible entrants must open a Bank First Online Saver bank account during the Promotion Period and quote an eligible promo code at the time of signing up.
   4.1.2 Entrants may earn additional entries into the prize draw by participating in a carnival game, Plinko, at O-Week events. Players in the Plinko carnival game will drop a disc from the top of the Plinko board into slots, where each disc will land into chambers at the bottom of the board to determine the number of additional entries won, with each player receiving 3 turns, and the final number of entries accumulated from these turns. Any disputes regarding the number of entries awarded are subject to the decision of Bank First’s promotions team.
   4.1.3 Entrants may also earn 5 additional entries by referring a friend to Bank First, and have them subsequently open a new Bank First Online saver bank account, within the Promotion Period. Both Referrer and Referee will receive 5 additional entries each.
   4.1.3.1 The Referee must quote an eligible promo code and the Referrer’s mobile phone number at the time of signing up.
   
   
   
5. Prizes: 
   5.1 There are 50 cash prizes of $100 each and 1 grand cash prize of $3,000. The total prize pool is $8,000.
   5.2 Winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
   5.3 A competition entrant is eligible to win one (1) cash prize only. Any additional entries of an entrant who has already won one (1) cash prize will be void.
   5.4 Prizes will be awarded in the form of a direct deposit into the winner's Bank First bank account.
   
   
   
6. Prize Draw: 
   6.1 Winners will be selected by random draw conducted by Bank First or its authourised representatives.
   6.2 The draw for the prizes will take place at Bank First’s Head Office located at 117 Camberwell Road, Hawthorn East 3123 on 5 April 2023 (“Draw Date”).
   6.3 The winners will be notified via the contact details provided during the account opening process and names will be published on our website and in our monthly eSlate newsletter.
   6.4 If Bank First is unable to contact the winner within 21 days of the prize draw, the prize will be forfeited and Bank First may in its sole discretion redraw the prize.
   6.5 All prize draws are final and Bank First is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence with participants or their representatives relating to this promotion.
   
   
   
7. Prize Conditions: 
   7.1 The prizes are non-transferable and may not be varied or exchanged for any other products or services.
   7.2 All taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
   7.3 The cash prize will be directly deposited into the winner's Bank First bank account within 10 business days of the Draw Date.
   
   
   
8. Publicity: 
   8.1 By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to the use of their names and photographs for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
   
   
   
9. Privacy: 
   9.1 Bank First is committed to protecting the privacy of participants.
   9.2 Personal information collected during the Competition will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and in accordance with Bank First's privacy policy (available at available at www.bankfirst.com.au/privacy-policy or by calling 1300 654 822).
   9.3 With your consent, Bank First may use your personal information to provide participants with information about its products and services.
   9.4 By participating in the Promotion, participants consent to the use of their personal information as described herein.
   
   
   
10. General Terms: 
    10.1 Bank First reserves the right to disqualify any participant in breach of these terms and conditions.
    10.2 Bank First reserves the right to modify or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
    10.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bank First is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any participant or any other person including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by Bank First or its employees, contractors or agents in connection with this promotion.
