As a Member-owned bank, we pride ourselves on the relationship we have with our 90,000-plus Members. That’s why we’re starting this month’s eSlate with a heartfelt apology and a pledge to do better.

We know that our call wait times have been unacceptably long. We are working behind the scenes on several initiatives and changes to improve our service. Changes include an increase in Member Services staff to take your calls.

Sometimes you need cash

If you’re out and about, need cash and you’re not near our ATM or branches, head for one of the major four banks.

As a Bank First Member you can use any of the four major bank ATMs across Australia without paying a fee. To avoid paying any fees when using another bank’s ATM, follow the prompts on the ATM screen carefully. You have time to stop the transaction before paying a fee.

There is a misconception that Bank First Members can only use their debit cards at CBA ATMs. Today, we’re busting that myth. You can use NAB, CBA, ANZ and Westpac ATMs to access your money - fee free! You can also withdraw money at Australia Post outlets.
