Confirmation of Payee is coming soon!

We're pleased to announce that we are launching Confirmation of Payee next month. If you haven't heard about Confirmation of Payee, here's a brief explanation.

What is it?

When you send money using a BSB and account number to a new payee, Confirmation of Payee checks if the account details held by the receiver's bank matches the account name, BSB, and account number you've entered. You'll be show if it's a 'Match', 'Close Match, 'No Match' or if there's an 'Error'. This information will help you decide whether you need to go back and check the details again or to proceed with the payment despite the 'No Match' or 'Error' outcome.

What do I have to do?

Bank First App: Make sure you update your Bank First App to the latest version to start using Confirmation of Payee.

Internet Banking: You don't need to do anything. As soon as we launch Confirmation of Payee it will be available on your Internet Banking when you make a payment to a new payee.
