Confirmation of Payee is coming!

You may have already heard about Confirmation of Payee - a new service that will soon be active across all banks Australia-wide.

Confirmation of Payee is a layer of protection to make payments safer when paying a BSB and account number for the first time. It checks the account details you've entered with the account details held by the receiver's bank. 

It is designed to help you avoid scams or mistaken payments and have more confidence that the money you are transferring is going to the right person.
